Haikyuu! Seven Minutes In Heaven - Tsukishima

“Tsukishima.”

Glancing over to Karasuno’s volleyball team, anyone could tell by Tsukishima’s irritated look that he didn’t want to be a part of, what he considered, a ridiculous game.

“Come on, Tsukki. You’ve got to play otherwise you’ll be punished.” Iky called him over with a single gesture but he stayed in his spot, a stubborn gleam appearing in his brown orbs.

“I don’t mind. I’d rather get hit then play.” He shrugged in manner that revealed he wasn’t bothered making the host roll her eyes.

Placing a hand on her hip, a mischievous look glistened in Iky’s coloured orbs as they locked with his.

“Then, it’s best to mention that I have added special punishments in the box to spice things up a little.”

Stepping towards you and Iky, he brushed past her, his expression natural as he muttered the words,

“I’m sure I won’t get one.”

The blonde haired boy picked a piece from the box, instantly opening it and skimming it with his eyes. Noticing how a heavy blush covered his cheeks a moment after, Iky snickered while you grew curious, desiring to find out what the punishment was.

“I’m gonna give you another chance. Do you want to do a mission or the punishment you chose?” She asked, glancing up at the boy who stuffed the paper back in the box, you huffing in disappointment for not knowing what it was.

Taking a paper from the mission box, Tsukishima read the mission and handed it to you.

‘One person must serenade the other with a love song of their choice.’

Looking over to Tsukishima to discuss who would be doing the mission, you quickly stopped yourself from speaking when you saw him searching through his phone for a song. You inwardly sighed in relief, wanting to thank your partner for choosing to do the mission.

Once he had selected the track, you both moved to the assigned room and strode inside, Iky shutting it after her.

“Time starts now!”

Tsukishima faced his back to you as he sat down, adjusting his headphones that rested on his head while you gazed at his figure in puzzlement, wondering why he chose to not look towards you.

“Uh, Tsukishima-”

“Just don’t ask.”

That’s when it struck you.

An exhale of air left your lips and you drew near the tall male, seating yourself before tipping backwards and resting your back against his.

Taking this as a sign to start, Tsukishima pressed play and you managed to hear the soft tune through his headphones, your form relaxing the moment you closed your eyes.

“Yasashii hidamari ni chaimu ga direi suru, Hoho wo naderu kaze ibuki wa fukakunatteku”

His vocals may not have been the best but the fact that he was trying hard, singing each word with a spark of emotion in there, it made your heart flutter in a manner which you recognized to be loving. Tilting your head back to rest it on his shoulder while humming to the song, Tsukishima felt the corner of his lips lift up as he continued to sing.

“Adokenai konna kimochi mo, Hajiketobu hodo waraiaeta hi mo, Taisetsu ni sodateteikeru youni…”

The song soon came to an end and Tsukishima turned his attention to you as you shifted from your position to face him.

“Well?” He raised a brow as he questioned you, wondering if he managed to complete the mission but what caught him off guard was the kiss that you planted on his cheek.

“Thank you.”

The way you gazed at him in a soft manner, a pink blush dusting your cheeks and a smile adorning your features, it made his breath hitch, his eyes widening an inch as a heavy blush covered his own two.

“Times up!”

That brought him out of his daze and he straightened up to his full height, you following after. When you both stepped out, Iky decided to remain silent, a small smile painting her lips as she saw the way you glanced at Tsukishima a few times while he refused to look your way, too flustered to do so.

“How cute.”
