“Kageyama Tobio. Also known as a ‘genius setter’ and the ‘king of the court’.” Hinata informed you which you nodded in awe.
It was really early in the morning and you decided to tag along with Hinata and Kageyama so you could help.
“That’s cool. Why is he called that?” You asked but Kageyama walked into the gym at that moment.
Hinata froze up and quickly signalled for you to stay quiet but you didn’t understand. You got up from the bench and went up to Kageyama with a smile.
“Hey, Kageyama-kun? Why are you called the ‘king of the court’?” You asked innocently.
He flinched at the name and directed a glare in your direction.
“Don’t ask me that.” He snapped.
You were taken aback by his foul mood and slowly nodded, a sad expression appearing on your features.
“I’m sorry…” You muttered and returned to Hinata’s side.
It was silent and when the other members of Karasuno’s volleyball team arrived, Tanaka noticed the depressing atmosphere surrounding you.
“What happened, [F/N]-chan? Who did this to you? Should I punch them?!” Tanaka was technically panicking and Daichi had to sigh at this.
The captain approached you and sat by your side. Hinata was surprisingly quiet but Daichi could see the guilt in his eyes.
“Whatever happened, I’m sure it was for a reason,” Daichi said but you slowly shook your head.
You explained what occurred earlier and Tanaka scowled.
“Kageyama, you idiot! Come here so I can kill you…” The 2nd year snapped and proceeded to put the setter in a head lock.
“Ow! Senpai, stop that,” Kageyama complained.
He saw your sad state and guilt hit him. He thought you would have gotten over it but it seemed he was wrong. He didn’t understand girl’s feelings so this all new to him. He straightened up and Tanaka forced him to go up to you.

When he saw your tear filled eyes, he instantly found you cute but he shook away the thoughts and spoke up.
“I…I-I’m S-Sorry…” He stuttered the apology as he rubbed the back of his neck in an awkward manner.
You sniffed and glanced at Daichi who sent you an encouraging smile. You stood up but Kageyama grunted in pain when you punched his arm with a lot of power. Hinata was surprised by your move but he soon laughed at the look of disbelief on the setter's face. Tanaka crossed his arm and grinned while Daichi let out a small chuckle.
“It won’t be just one punch next time,” You huffed in a childish manner.
Kageyama rubbed his arm, wincing a few times but he couldn’t stop the small smile appearing on his handsome features as he nodded to your words.
