You gazed up at your fellow friend with a brow raised.

“You want help from me?” You asked, just to make sure you were hearing right.

“Yes. I would very much appreciate it, ___-chan.” The blue haired male nodded, his expression still blank.

You let out a sigh and brushed your (h/c) bangs out of your eyes.

“Fine. Where do you want to meet?” You leaned against your chair and waited patiently.

“I’ll wait by your classroom after school.” He answered.

You nodded at his words but couldn’t help but add in a comment.

“Can’t believe you’re actually asking me, of all people. I’m no good at that kind of stuff.”

Kuroko remained quiet until he suddenly bowed in a thanking manner. You flicked his forehead making him wince and wonder why you randomly did that.

“Stop being so formal with me, Tetsuya. It makes it look like we’re strangers,” You joked but you noticed how he flinched at your words.

He apologized for his actions which surprised you before leaving your classroom. You watched his retreating figure before returning your attention to your lunch.

“How strange…” You muttered to yourself.

You walked alongside your shorter friend and gazed around the huge shopping centre.

“Where should we start first?” You glanced at him and saw that he was pointing towards one of the many dress shops.

You replied back with an ‘okay’ before stepping towards the shop. The minute you both entered, a woman appeared in front of you both with a huge smile plastered on her face. You jumped in fright and felt a bit creeped out by her smile.

“Welcome to Dress Attire. If you need assistance just raise your hand and I’ll be there.” She bowed after speaking and disappeared just as fast as before.

You blinked at where she once stood before sharing a look with Kuroko.

“The hell was that?” You mumbled the question under your breath.

You both soon shrugged it off before checking out the dresses.

“Who is this even for?” You asked.

“A friend,” He answered simply.

You flickered your eyes at him to see he still had that blank expression. It would have been nice to know who that friend was. You…You couldn’t believe this but, you felt a bit jealous that his friend would receive a gift from him. You never really did get one from Kuroko. You shook your head and paid attention to the dresses but you paused as your eyes caught one. You looked at it in awe and automatically went towards it. It was a [Favourite Colour] summer dress. It didn’t look sparkly or too revealing. It was plain but it just looked perfect in your eyes. Kuroko saw your reaction and a small smile appeared on his face. You were going to pick it out but grew hesitant. You forgot that you wouldn’t be wearing the dress. His friend was. You should pick another dress…No. You couldn’t be horrible. You grabbed the dress and turned to Kuroko.

“Is this good enough?” You smiled but it was forced.

Kuroko looked uncertain and spoke.

“Could you try it on? I don’t know if it good or not,” He asked and mentioned.

You were taken aback by his request but slowly nodded before making your way to the changing room. Once the curtain was shut, Kuroko raised his hand in the air. Nothing occurred and he sighed. Sometimes, he wished his presence wasn’t so weak.

“Excuse me.” He called out loud with his hand raised.

The assistant from earlier returned with the same big smile and he pointed at the picture that was displayed next to the dress you picked.

“I’d like to pay for this dress.” He said.

“That is great sir but where is the dress?” She was confused and her smile faltered slightly.

“My friend is getting changed in it…” He trailed off and leaned forward before whispering the rest of his words to her.

The assistant giggled and nodded before leading him to the front. He paid for the dress and waited for you to come out. He saw your head peak out of the curtain.

“I’m ready,” You told him before stepping out.

Kuroko’s eyes widened as he took in your whole appearance. You began to feel self-conscious and gazed elsewhere.

“Don’t just stare. How is it?” You glanced at him a few times but his expression was still the same.

You were startled when he grabbed your bag and entwined his hand with yours before leading you out the shop.

“Don’t we have to pay for this? Tetsuya!” You gazed at the assistant but became puzzled when she winked towards you.

The minute you saw a restaurant, your mind clicked. Your cheeks grew warm and you forced Kuroko to stop.

“Tetsuya…This isn’t a…you know…” You struggled to say it as you began to feel more and more embarrassed.

The smile and nod that sent towards you made your heart beat fast. He was intending on taking you on a date.

“B-But, we are just friends.” Your words were hardly above a whisper.

Kuroko wrapped his hands around your arms and brought you forward. He pulled your arms to make you lean down but your breath hitched at how near your faces were to each other. Kuroko averted his eyes to your lips and soon shut his eyes. He closed the gap between your lips and your stomach performed flips. You closed your eyes and gave in as you kissed back. The kiss was soon broken and you breathed in for air. You gazed at Kuroko in a flustered state but squirmed when he placed a kiss on your cheek.

“You’re my girlfriend now. There is no other reason to prevent this date,” He told you.

You nodded shyly and allowed him to lead you away to the restaurant where you really enjoyed the rest of your date.
